Wullz 408
Can I add hairy black Tibetan terriers? Walking along the canal with my grew, on his lead as usual (too many squirrels, rabbits and moor hens to let him loose) when I spotted two women coming along with maybe.....8 or 9 dogs. Shouted at them to put them on the lead please, ignored, when they were about 30 yards away, shouted, excuse me, can you put them the lead please? Nowt, looked at me like I was mental......now I was in a suit and tie with my overcoat on, not camos, so I looked respectable enough. So along they came and this hairy baistard of a terrier goes right round and heads for Troy's back end....he disnae like it and will react.....so I put my self between it and him and the damn thing tries to lung at him between my legs......big mistake, Tai Kwon Do, front kick, into canal....sploosh. Cue hysterics from the two 'ladies' ohmygod he kicked my dog, woo hoo etc etc. So I let them have the spiel, if you cant control your dogs properly, keep them on a leash! They started on the wel, that dog wouldn hurt a fly etc etc and I said, I asked you to put them on a leash, you ignored me. That thing (still in the canal) went for Troy's back end, if I did not have him under control, that thing would now be an ex-thing. Dead, understand? I have since seen these women, cos I look out for them and thier mutts, and I have seen them letting the dogs keech all over the shop on public tow paths.....respectable dog owners tho....nice wee family pets....erses! Gitano 17
Last year I had to go to the Town Hall to get them to sort the stray dog problem here. We worked out that there were habitually around 50 loose mutts in the village we live in-everything from Pit-type catch-dogs, Dogo Argentinos, Rottweilers, German Shepherds...you name it, they were often just let out on the streets while their piece of shit ignorant owners went about their business.(oh aye, a few nasty Labs as well ) I started having to get up at 5 am just to get my dogs out without a fight breaking out with mine under control on a lead and the others basically running amok. Basically, it meant that I couldn't socialise my pups too well (couldn't take the risk of getting 'em out round the village for obvious reasons) and I now find that the problems been dealt with by the authorities (as much as Spanish authorities deal with problems lol) but I'm left with my dogs that want to kill any dogs that move because of the shitty experiences they had with out of control dogs. As there's quite a bit of Pit blood in some of my dogs I find it pretty hard to get them to tolerate other dogs (at least without constant vigilance)and therefore it's a proper pain in the arse even getting them out for a walk. To get round this problem I've continued getting up at 5 am to get them running by the bike up in the mountains. People not controlling their mutts has really made life difficult here but at least it means I've got my cardio work in before I'd normally be out my bed .
slingshot82 32
I was out walking my two terriers and lurcher the other week, I had my black terrier and the lurcher on leads and the Mrs had ma Russell on a lead. We were walking along a path approaching a blind bend and could hear a woman shouting for her dog, as we came around the bend we saw her lab sprinting towards us. It came bounding towards ma black terrier, whether it was being aggressive or not I don't know but ma black terrier grabbed it by the face and started shaking f**k out of it. It was squealing like mad so I tried to get him off. When he eventually let go, I got bitten on the hand by the lab, I was raging! And believe it or not, the labs owner tried to blame me the dumb bitch
chook1 184
Round near me we have very little problems with dogs, most are courteous and will put their dogs back on lead most dogs are very well socialized, we only have one bloke that's a problem - he has 3 bull breeds they are working dogs and he does work them - at least one of them is out of control, it looks like a ABT' x the amount of times its flew at my dogs and other peoples dogs, i wouldn't trust it as far as i could throw it, whilst its going at other dogs though - he walks off. Couple months ago his dogs perused 2 breeding swans on a little pond and killed them both - he had walked off whilst this was happening, then the other week it attacked a small dog that was on lead, leaving it in a very bad way, haven't seen him for a few weeks now - but the last time i did he asked me if i had seen the dogs, it had buggered off chasing deer - needless to say i grabbed my dogs and went else where, not staying round whilst its on the loose with no one around
