Yes there are some that are c**ts And have no respect for thier jobs. I can say the same about my firm, Abd prob everyone else's on here., what they did during the strike was disgusting.

But having said all that god forbid any of your kids go missing or worse! Wonder if you would stand by your convictions And day thier useless And I have f**k all to do with them. We all know who you be calling then. No being arrogant here, but I'd say I have more cause to hate em than most on here And prob been arrested more times than some of you. However that's what there there for and more fool me for getting caught or not shutting my mouth at the time. What's the alternative mobs patrollIng the streets dishing out thier own justice! We all know how that normally turns out.

I can see miners will have bad memory's and opinions of the police because they were on the receiving end and the fact that most miners were as individuals, normal hard working lads and loads of people know them makes it seem unjust but, let's just look at the facts

 

During the strike the police were faced with and angry mob, never mind they may have been decent lads, they were a mob just the same.....

No different from the may day protesters or wog rioters or any other angry mob......if 100 angry blokes are facing me, I wouldn't wait for an introduction to see if they were sound lads !!!....it would be baton round the head first and ask questions late and I dare say most other lads would be the same.

They failed to protect my daughter from a violent ex why because they didnt give a feck they soon came busting through my gate though [bANNED TEXT] the c**t got a taste of his own medicine and non of my two kids have never been in trouble with the law it was a case of leave him to it it wont be long before the old man gets involved and this was after the family had pleaded with me to let the police deal with him.

If my kids went missing I'd ring the police to take advantage of every opportunity to get them back. They'd still be cnuts to me either way, especially considering I'd want to kill those responsible if only to save taxpayers money from rehousing and protecting them after they finish their 2 year sentence, yet they'd stop me because they're as braindead as everyone else it seems.

Sorry to hear that dell, truly I am. ,like I said though some are useless, like in any profession. I got sent down once cause the lawyer was f*****g useless, but another lawyer hot me a few grand for something, it's swings and roundabouts.

I mentioned mob justice earlier. If any member of my family was violated in the twisted ways you read about in the papers, I would certainly be wanting to dish out retribution. However it would be f**k all to do with how the police do or don't do thier job. It would be simply anger and a lust for vengeance. And I would not be expecting any special allowances cause I'm the victims family. The laws are there for a reason, and all those loonies that say we don't need them we can police our own areas. Well quite frankly I'd be locking them up.

I'm pretty sure the poor cop who has to chap some mother and father up at the wee small hours of the morning to tell them thier son has been pulled dead from a car wreck would rather be somewhere else. Other than thru dealing with my FEO and my parents getting their house broken into about 20 years ago, I've had no dealings with the police.

A cynical man would assume that the purpose of the OP is to whinge about his shoddy treatment at the hands of our modern day Bow Street runners, justified or otherwise.

My local firearms dept seems pretty efficient, although the FEO I have is short of rifle knowledge and the laws regarding different calibres- par for the course I guess.
