The Duncan 802
When I was on the doors, they'd arrive in minutes if things got serious. Couldn't fault them then.

I've never seen so many on the streets helicopters, dogs, bikes ,the lot .THEY UPHOLD THE LAW THE ARE NOT LAW !
DEREK CANNING LLB[HONS] 20
Derek, what are you after with this thread.... http://www.whatdothe...anning_llb_hons Just people's thoughts. I know what I believe to be true but I would like to know if people share my views. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/250542-httpstaffordshiresocialserviceswordpresscom20120604protest-against-police-corruption-and-unaccountability-12th-june-2012-london-policecorrupt/
DEREK CANNING LLB[HONS] 20
http://staffordshire...protest-police/ The point of the thread is to see what people's views are in relation to the above link and for people to express their views good and bad so hopefully the police who read the threads on this forum will be better informed with the public's thoughts and act in the public interest and not just their own. Simoman 110
Agree with the points made by stabba and wilf............If your out and about in the early hours, especially in a 4x4 you can expect a pull, just ensure your car is in good order, you can show them your permission slip and no bother, i was pulled 5 times in a week and breathalised twice(i dont drink) but aslong as your are polite, articulate and all is above board i have never had a problem. I have been in the car with stabba when we have had a tug, the officer was right as rain with us and had a laugh, even after he saw a shape on the back seat and asked for his details, we informed him it was a dog Edited to add there are good and bad in all walks of life, why should the police service be any different? baw 4,360
Makes me laugh when I read the polis do nowt then in the same thread you have countless posts telling of how they can't go out at night without a pull the polis must be doing something if you can't drive at night without a pull at some point. We look suspicious so we get pulled, ain't rocket science. If some c**t in a van or car pulled up outside your house in the early hours I'm sure you'd be thinking, what's there game....... If they are checking us out you can guarantee drug dealers etc etc will be getting hassle too. I'm not saying we are comparable but we do frequent the same hours as burglars etc. As for daylight harassment that's down to sheer ignorance on there part. I've had my fair share of run ins with them just like the next man but I hold no grudges. Apart from one fanny who was hell bent on causing us grief in my younger days. He thought he had us on a number of occasions, had us in court for a loaded firearm in a school once. The school wasn't even finished getting built!!! Thrown out of court. The one time he should have had us guilty as charged, his sloppy police work saved our bacon. Someone reported a shotgun going off, he thought he'd won the lottery when he seen 3 of us sitting on a grass knoll with 3 air rifles all in cases. Let's see the guns lads with a face they all have when they think they've got you. No probs as we unzipped the cases to show our air rifles. His face was a picture little did he know one of the cases held a shotgun and an airrifle

BEARINATOR 2,869
Had hassle off them years ago, 40+ stop and searches in a month (solicitor threatened them with a harassment charge ) but keep my head down now and never get bothered off them. I don't care about them anyway, didn't report getting stabbed as couldn't be done with the hassle either
WILF 46,879
' timestamp='1339373100' post='2659251'] At a local level I find the police helpful and if I was in a life threatening situation the grass root level police would be first in line to save me. It is the top layer that is the potential issue by not addressing the needs of the public. My guess would be that they are too bogged down dealing with bullshit from bellends like you matey, as I said, we all get what we deserve with our police force.
