lamp?

Purely out of curiosity has anyone had any experience of this lamp it seems a bargain but whether it is any good is another story.

there not very good mate ,you can buy them of ebay with a red filter for 13 quid, its a shop on ebay called danny dead bunnys ,for 65 quid with a 7 amp battery pack is a piss take, just spend a bit more and get a proper lamp .

got one of them its a good lamp but want a tighter beam, the idea is that a tighter beam will help the dog pinpoint rabbits better do the lightforce rage have a tighter beam? i mite try the cluson with the filter kit or even bodge something up to tighten the beam.

imo no matter what cluson light you buy the beam just wont be tight enough.. even with the flood to spot models like the shootalite there is still a bit too much spread... but even at that, i still like cluson... very reasonably priced and very very reliable

does the filter funnel not make it that little bit tighter?

i had the filter funnel for the laser... i dont think it made alot of diff ... my mate morris has the lightforce 170, he gets a tighter beam and a lot longer range....

You can adjust the beam on the Lightforce!

 

IMO best lamp you can buy!

i know someone whos got a home made lamp and the beam is very tight but it makes it that bit harder when scanning the field.try holding the lamp high as you near in on your quarry i have seen a few people who lamp at chest height making it harder for the dog to see the rabbit.
