Guest LamperJohn Posted May 22, 2007 Report Share Posted May 22, 2007 there not very good mate ,you can buy them of ebay with a red filter for 13 quid, its a shop on ebay called danny dead bunnys ,for 65 quid with a 7 amp battery pack is a piss take, just spend a bit more and get a proper lamp . Frank. got one of them its a good lamp but want a tighter beam, the idea is that a tighter beam will help the dog pinpoint rabbits better do the lightforce rage have a tighter beam? i mite try the cluson with the filter kit or even bodge something up to tighten the beam. FERRETBOY 680 Posted May 22, 2007 Report Share Posted May 22, 2007 i know someone whos got a home made lamp and the beam is very tight but it makes it that bit harder when scanning the field.try holding the lamp high as you near in on your quarry i have seen a few people who lamp at chest height making it harder for the dog to see the rabbit. good hunting rew Quote Link to post
