Black tie boxing evenings

As per the title, I ain't been to one in 30 years since I was a kid but used to go with my old man and I want to take my little lad who is only a tiddler.

 

The reason I want a black tie event is that I can't hack being amongst a load of f*****g lemons and don't want my little lad around them neither.

 

Any sites around that promote such events?

 

Any info would be helpful.....south east England obviously preferred.

used to have them in Kings Lynn at the Regis Rooms Wilf, not sure if they are still going mate but it would always be a good evening .

 

I'll see if I can find some info but don't see many people from the area anymore.......

Try the excel in east London I think there's a boxing show there before the olympics. I know there was an all day event there but not sure if it's finished now. You know a few bouts and pros taking kids on the pads stuff like that! I don't think it is a black tie do but it's during the day so you shouldn't get the muppets!

Think that was the " Show of Strength " event it was over the weekend just gone.........arm wrestling was superb....boxing and mma was awful......and yes there was plenty of muppets

If you know anyone in the military, try and get along to an inter company boxing event. They are always good craic, and is normally dress uniform/black tie for visitors. Have a look at Centurions Boxing club in the sports centre near Merville Barracks in Colchester.
