Pheasants

I was told that it is illegle to shoot pheasants with a multi shot air rifle, sub 12 or not I can't remeber where I heard this but to my understanding it is single shot air rifles only??

If that is true anyone know why that is?

Shoot them with anything mate there just vermin that roams the countryside ,no like there wild like pigeons

Yeah i agree!

 

there a non indigenous species and should be shot on site whatever the time of year and reclassed as a pest :D

true story this, i shot one at 90yrds in the chest, front on with a 17hmr. it took off and flew right at me, i thought i had missed it, then fell out of the sky at my feet, when i picked it up there was no insides left in it :icon_eek:

 

i done that with a crow although it was only about 50yrds with a .222 took off (my brother stared laughing and i was baffled) and just dropped out of the sky about 20yrds from where it was shot (laughter stopped) :whistling:
