Probuk 93
Hello shooter's..here's a few more picture's of vermin control. Iv had 6 bird's in the trap today and a rabbit with early sign's of mixy. The rabbit was at an esimated 50 yard's as i had no range finder and iv broken my glasses so i opted to take a shot to the chest as you can see in the picture..No washed pellet's where used in the dipaching of this rabbit. The wind was about 12mph and the pellet's i was using where not the pellet's id zerod my rifle with. Marty Quote Link to post

venomviper 129
hi ya buddy not going to put a dampers on things but did you really think it was a safe shot to take on a rabbit at give or take 50 yrds in the chest ? is your airgun F.A.C ? and at 50yrds and having no glasses as you broke them you seem to be looking for an arguement as i was reading what you said i feel like i had to say something i dont want you to think i am just going on at you about it but to be honest if everything was going againest you why take the shot ? if this could be re-worded maybe ? quote ( The rabbit was at an esimated 50 yard's as i had no range finder and iv broken my glasses so i opted to take a shot to the chest as you can see in the picture..No washed pellet's where used in the dipaching of this rabbit. I shoot this field often enough to estimate how for that rabbit was, and iv used my range finder on the field often enough to have a very good judgement of the distance i was.. to where it was. No i didnt have my glasses but hey.. theres this thing on my HW100 called a scope. The pellets i was using where only slighty heavyer than the JSBs i zerod my scope with. The rest is my own confidence in my shooting ability...without having to wash pellet's in fairy washing up liquid My HW100 .177 Sporter is not FAC and i dont belive there is a law against me taking a shot to the chest if i wish to do so...I think the picture speaks word..Is that rabbit dead.?? Well i think so.!! Bad sportsmanship bad pest control.?? I think the amount of farms and other lands i have say i know how to keep vermin under control. Hope this cleared things up for you..if not its your issue...keep it to yourself Edited June 20, 2012 by Probuk Quote Link to post

hotshot2me 31
I honestly cant see a problem taking on long distance shots if you are confident and used to taking on that type of shot, i myself took on a lased 60 yards shot and killed it instantly in the head on Tuesday but i was confident that i could make the shot or i would not have taken it.I have been shooting for 53 years started when i was 12 and believe i can old my own when it comes to shooting Good on ya mate, if you can see em shoot em if your confident: Dave Quote Link to post

ArchieHood 3,692
In defence of Venomviper when I first read the post I thought it had been written in a way to provoke a reaction, I declined to comment due to constructive criticism being regarded as a personal attack most of the time.In time you will see some of the posts on this section are written before the brain is in gear.Just my view on things.Good to see the Larsen working overtime.
