Gaz_1989 9,539
I know this is going to open a can of worms and cause all sorts of arguments - not what i want at all. Please nobody come on here slagging bull crosses off without offering any decent advice or opinions based on experience. Ive always liked them and still do and one day would love one. However I cannot justify keeping a dog just because i like them and to occasionally take ireland for fox control Do they and can they make decent bunny dogs? Mainly looking at the 1/4 Bull 3/4 Greyhound or maybe Bull/Greyhound x Whippet. Ive heard loads of mixed opinions, the negative ones saying they are hard mouthed and cant turn for shit. Im hoping this isnt true and just comes from the bull cross haters. Any DECENT Feedback on bull crosses as all rounders much appreciated. Thanks Gaz Quote Link to post

sandymere 8,263
In general there are better types for rabbits but a good bull cross will do the job. If I was to get a specialist rabbiter it wouldn't be a bull cross but as a general lurcher they are a handy type. As with most things its horses for courses, this lad takes rabbit ok but will never be a world beater at it. 1 Quote Link to post
