muddy210 34
spun poly are the best all round nets you cna get these days they have the properties of the old hemp nets and dont rot. nylon nets have there place aswell on clean areas there is nothing better as they tangle the conies up like nothing else allways best to have a few in your bag. but i would start off with the spun poly if i was you the cost is more but they will lead to more rabbits learn to tie your own its saves a good amount have a look at the stickies there are some net suppliers on there that are recommended Quote Link to post
max abell 196
If they are the 4z nylon type they will be cheap and that's because they are sh*t avoid them like the plague If you can get yourself some spun poly or 10z nylon nets much better quality and wont tangle as much there are some good net makers on this site that sell good nets at a good price good luck with it mate Quote Link to post

muddy210 34
sounds like the cheap 4z nets mate as asaid steer clear you will spend more time unravelling them then you will ferreting if you get your nets off one of the guys in the sticky threads at the top of the forum they will be of good quality and last you as well as been of good material such as spun poly. lksopener 105
Hello Davy, There's no silly questions mate, don't worry we all have to start somewhere. With regards to nets please read this: http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/223308-where-to-buy-purse-nets-net-guide-read-here From what you have said they sound like Bisley 4z which are shite. If you want some good nets I have some spare mate just drop me a pm for details. With regards to learning have a read of either ferrets and ferreting by Ian c Rickard or an essential guide to ferreting by Simon whitehead. They are both very good and give you all the basic knowledge. Any questions just message me and I'll help where i can. Liam 1 Quote Link to post
