remi700 99
There's 1000 different fox calls available, each one will work given the right situation. Here's one of the better ones. They make this with a metal reed and a plastic reed. The metal reeds the one to go for. Atb Mark http://www.deben.com/calls/johnny-stewart-fox-call.html Quote Link to post

Jesse James 2
Hi Buddy. I have tried several types from home made ones (You Tube) to - recorded distressed calls and even a baby crying recording. hey have all worked and really non are better than others as due ti time of year, type of call being used. even using the back of my hand to Squeak them in works...!!! I don't believe there is a "Best one" that works. as said depends on time of year, were you are and what the Foxes may hear that's different... Baiting an area is also a great thing to do and also to see (You tube video) when and what time they may be feeding if you do this a few times. (How to make fox caller) (How to set up an alarm clock method for baiting foxes) For me the one that seems to work better than some and again depends on time of year is the metal one or you can by a http://www.bestfoxcall.co.uk/ this has worked very well for me, takes some getting used too. lee Quote Link to post
richmcgin 32
IMO i think a selection to hand is a good ploy, i use the reed type and my hand mainly but i have others and they all seem to work at given times of year, but around this time of year you can just call "here foxy foxy" !!!!!!. 1 Quote Link to post
