Flow 18
I have since shot 1 inch spinning targets at 30 and 40 yards and hit them 99% of the time over two hours of shooting. I will have to make a video or something. Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
This is getting off topic now lol there's no need for a vid..I'm not questioning your ability to shoot. Quote Link to post
Flow 18
It's not getting off topic mate, I was just stating that springers can be as accurate and I find them a lot more rewarding to shoot. Whatever floats your boat. Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Must say I do agree with some on here and flow. A springer is far more rewarding to group with than a point and click pcp. So many things effect a springer. Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
Yes I know what you meen, as I said I might get another one above.I just didn't want you thinking I was questioning your ability to shoot by you making a vid to prove you can do it..I believe you lol anyone can be a decent shot with a pcp ,but you got to put in the time to be a good shot with a Springer. Flow 18
I wasn't having a dig at PCP's by the way, like you say they definitely have their place Edited June 8, 2012 by Flow Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Yes I know what you meen, as I said I might get another one above.I just didn't want you thinking I was questioning your ability to shoot by you making a vid to prove you can do it..I believe you lol anyone can be a decent shot with a pcp ,but you got to put in the time to be a good shot with a Springer. since i got my 97 in april my groups have halfed in size at 35-50 yards.. its all about practicing the more time you put in the better you get-like lots of things not just shooting.. also i do think pcp's are kind of boring, but if you have serious vermin problems then the 10/14 shot is a great 'tool' to have and i also think any kill with a springer is a hell of a lot more rewarding. thats just my oppinions tho.. if your doing a 'job' go for multishot pcp, if you shoot for the odd rabbit stew and a bit of fun get a springer. like its been said before tho, with the high quality levels of engineering these days all the top rifles WILL outshoot the shooter.. all the best anyway lads Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
I wasn't knocking either lol I put the vid up just to show springers if shot correctly can be pushed just as far as pcps lol Quote Link to post
