Rhodey 96
I went once, got kicked off apparently you don't play golf by smacking the ball then sending the dog to retrieve it.

Probably one of the most difficult sports to master i reckon......thats why people hate it cause there shit at it. Cant see on a hunting forum where people spend lots of there time just walking about the counrtyside it would bother them the walking part? A very frustrating game, not for everyone, crap if its raining but with a few tins and the right folk its a cracking day out......
Waz 4,262
Mate of mine was a pro before he got into bad habits, he turned pro at 16. He was doing very allright at one time, shame. Lot of workmates used to be into it, never understood why apart from easier to suck up to the guvners who used to play. Golf course at night is not a bad place to be though mind them bunkers though.. Born Hunter 17,763
What a f*****g fanny of a game! My borther plays it, very well at that, so I've been round with him once or twice and it really doesn't appeal. The only good thing about it is the permission he sorts me (He's a course greenkeeper as well). It's a game of precision and etiquette...... I'm just not cut out for all that. gonetoearth 5,144
The one sport i'll never take up nor try... Why... Because i'm sure i'll like it and, seeing my brother the golf nut, with every spare minute either playing or watching, I have too many things and one in particular, that I love to do and fecking golf I fear would ruin it...!!! AND WITH ROYAL BOOTLE ON YOUR DOOR STEP TUT TUT
Malt 379
Played off and on over the years, nothing serious though. I haven't really got the right temperament for it, I get frustrated far too easily!

MoChara 1,632
I always thought golf was mostly for wee old pensioner men/women. Honest to god i did, until all the news coverage and stuff about Rory McIlroy came out about him winning or something.. and at that only reason i listen to it was he was from here.. I really didnt think young people played golf, until that day
