Carraghs Gem 1,675
Tug of war will build up neck and shoulder muscles Swimming will exercise all muscles Walking and running will build up leg muscles Digging will build up shoulder/foreleg muscles My knowledge in this area however is limited Quote Link to post
foxdigger13 114
look up colby 's keep Bit over the top for a rabbiting terrier IMO. 1 Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,763
Just keep the dog generally fit. What's the need to muscle it up? Any extra bulk will just burden it, especially rabbiting. Hours spent in the field and training will be more productive than hours spent on muscle building. Quote Link to post
lakeland92 17
i use him for rabbiting atm but will be used for fox when hes matured abit more hes still abit young for fox but wanting to build him up for when his time come to meet charlie! thank for the info Quote Link to post
rob84 112
Good diet, good walks with free running, your pup will naturally get stronger as it grows. During the summer i take my terriers on a 6 mile trot on my push bike twice a week just to take the edge of them. Keeps them fit and in good shape. Quote Link to post
