My local vets has this for to stop bitches coming into season, PROMONEE.

The vet injects the bitch before it comes into heat, not during.

Anyone have experinces with this vaccine? is it safe?

have done gooGle on it, but you know how they put every side effect on it :icon_eek: , even asprin :D

So, what do you all think to this product?

Thanks,

Frank.

Frank; There is something available here which seems to be fine, mate. That bloke I was talking to recently uses it. That's probably what started our shared rant about the unnecassery mutilation of Dogs in the first place.

I've heard the abortion jab can wreck a bitches reproductives and leave her barren. But this guy used a season stopper jab and seemed to have done so as a matter of course since for ever. I never asked the name, but perhaps ....?

There is only two season suppresants I would use on a running dog Frank,

Either Durateston or Laurabolin, both are monthly or 28 day jabs.

My vet wanted £15 a jab for Laurabolin  A bottle costs about £25 and

contains 10 doses,which works out at £2.50/jag :)

I've used Laurabolin on many greyhounds over the years Frank and can

tell you it doesn't affect thier ability in the breeding paddock.
