went a ride out yesterday to see if i could get some new land to hunt on, first farm i arrived at about 15 mins drive away, knocked on door and introduced myself, told the farmer what i do, didnt mention anything about guns, just the ferrets, asked him if i could do some ferreting on his land, he turned round and said dont see many bunnies round here, so i said ok and thanks for your time, and sorry to bother you, turned round and headed for the car, got about 50 yards away from him, when he shouts me back, he says to me you dont use a gun by any chance do you, my eyes lit up, yes i replied but only an air rifle, ok he says got crows maggies pigeon and squirrels if you want to get rid of them for me, bonus i thought better than nothing, told me theres two woods on his land and over four hundred acres of land, hes arranged to meet me this saturday to show me around the land, seems a decent bloke, cant wait to get started, will let you know how it goes, atb.
