Blowing smoke up the arses of the aristocracy isn't my idea of patriotism. I will sure thank the Queen when I am getting up at 6am in January to spend the day in the cold pissing rain. Makes me laugh that you're considered patriotic if you play along with all this guff, yet if you spell out the truth of what's happening in this country your considered a racist. Sadly i'm starting to agree, iv always been a royalist but am loosing more and more respect for the queen as she watches over the most disgusting period of national decline this country has ever seen. On fact the only time she has stepped into politics, was to chastise thatcher. When her police force, was bashing the heads of her citizens during the minors strike. No I Don't blame the royals for the mess this nation is in. In fact it wouldn't be in the state it's in if they did have the power. I just don't see the fascination that some people have with the royals. They have never done anything to help me or anything that would make me want to stand around watching a load of fecking boats go by.. I could think of hundreds of people that I've got more reason to respect/admire, people who have achieved more than just being born into a certain bloodline that we are supposed to love.
