lads u get the same feckers in every town,they hunt every thing that moves in the summer months,but as soon as the cold and wet weather comes they go into hibernation,i think there to miserable too buy water proofs.

ya phoned the lad today he was over the moon he had 3 dogs taken so at least he gets one back he couldnt beleave it that we went out of our way to find him but if it was me id hope someone would do the same for me

was walking some of the land i have this evening to watching the cubs play when i could hear a terrier barking as i was heading towards a fox set which has always been good to me i could see 3 lads running at speed down the field towards the road as i got to the set i could see why these b*****ds had dug out and killed the vixen and 2 cubs and left the terrier in ground so i got him out and filled in the hole so the cubs could settle down i cant understand these summer hunters these lads wouldnt even see a field in winter and bost about there dogs killing easy foxs and the vixin had been shot

Not having a pop here when you say you filled the hole and let the cubs settle down. I'm presuming they left some cubs alive, just killing 2 and the vixen. If this is the case surely it would have been more humane of you to despatch the remaining cubs, seeing as the vixen was dead.

they where well up as i had no gear with me these cubs born about feb so they stand some chance as there is bog land around them plenty of frogs mice etc

i end my digging 2nd week in feb so i dont meet cubs i am digging over 25yrs and have never put a terrier in ground on cubs so if you dont know me how can you say other wise and i was on the land because i own it and hunt it so weather you belive this are not make no differance to what happened :thumbs-up:

If they had already got to the vixen and 2 cubs then surely the others must have been there in the stop end , otherwise how do you know there wern't only 2 cubs in ? The lads ran off at speed, so they must have left spades etc and with you being the owner of the land as well...I just can't get in in my head, that you're having a go at some lads for digging some cubs and you backfilled on the cubs, knowing the vixen had been killed . If they had left a dog to ground, surely it was trying to push on to where the cubs were.Why didn't you do what most lads would have done and kill the remaining cubs. Please do tell..............

I have been digging as long as you say you have and i have killed numerous litters of cubs and vixens, by the invitation of the landowner or keepers . Nothing to brag about but it needs to be done. If i want to dig on that land come winter. One thing i certainly would'nt do is half the job by backfilling in on cubs a couple of months old leaving 'em to suffocate or starve to death. It would be done humanely as poss ,with the terrier and possibly the gun. Please digress FURTHER.

there are 5 cubs i have been watching them for weeks playing that how i know there was more there i letf the tube open and just covered the top end these cubs would have plenty to eat around them again i done what i felt was right i dont dig cuds because it all cattle ground around here again all to there own
