No such thing as an Irish staff mate

With all due respect,how could you possibly be so sure a dog is or is not an American Pit Bull Terrier from 1 sideways on photograph ?.......... As regards this Irish Staff stuff......its not a recog

just to join in!, this is my staff. when i got him as a pup i bought him as an irish staff dont really care if there isnt such a thing ill still call him one lol

Mate if you search any breed or so called breed into that site and it will come up. Labradoodle for example lol. So Irish staff still no such thing. That's not a staff btw bud it's a pit no doubt call it what you want but it's a pit no matter where you bought it

i know a women that breeds irish staffs....like said above..its a staff thats been crossed with the apt to be taller and bigger than the standard staffordshire bullterrier...so there not really reconised as there not widely known to many... but thay class them as irish staff as thay were bred in ireland...and the most ive seen are the "blue" colour aswell... ive owned staffs..these irish staffs are alot bigger!!! under the dangours dog act there classed at a pitbull tho...as thay look so alike.

well the act covers pits and pit crosses which as irish staffs are pit crosses,so they would be seized.

if its a staff crossed with a pit then its an american staffordshire terrier not an irish staff as theres no such dog :thumbs:

As regards this Irish Staff stuff......its not a recognised breed of dog and a lot of supposed " Irish Staff " blood came from England..............................calling them " A Little Bit Bigger Staffs " would be more accurate than calling them Irish Staffs.....not quite as catchy name i know but.................
