AndyKelly 251 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 stay away from any soft wood as they snap really quick, if you use hazel they need to be dried and whittled so its best to cut in november to dry over the winter for use the following season. the best pegs are anything made out of hardwood which will last you years and are tough as granite and not snap Quote Link to post

I think its the bits they use as skids, in between packs of expensive plank. Quote Link to post
