ok here we go wish i had never started this f*****g thread now, dog was not too hard, but does mix it a bit when the going gets tough we dug to 4 on the day with him and he wasnt that badly marked up not sure how old the dog is, but he found well and stayed while we dug to him not over deep 5ft was the deepest all in sandy ground where the quarry was trying to dig on.

Just to add, I know you said you only dug to it once so I would be interested to hear the other lad give an account of the dogs time with the hunt
