Personally I would like to see a traditional whippet collar. Tapered with the d loop In the same turn of leather at the buckle. I had one made this way and it means the thicker part of the collar is on the windpipe even when on the last hole- put your collar on the last hole and directly opposite I bet is almos the thin part of the strap. It's a flaw with most collars.

 

I'd also like to see a traditional whippet collar with a small buckle and small brass 'excess strap tidier', with the buckle at the front of the collar.

 

Gaffer, if you can make a decent collar with the buckle at the front of the collar, whippet size, nice and neat then I will be first in line for it.
