That's what the first ones were made for, as the story goes, I sold one to a lad who came on here (I wasn't a member then) he was very happy with it, posted some pics and I started getting a few order

No.   O'Brien uses cheap open weave webbing, are 3 layers thick and no gap between the buckle and d.       Mine, more expensive polypropolene herringbone webbing, 5 layers thick, space between

Please stop talking about Ferrets you insensitive b*****d!   hehe!

Only an idiot would call someone an idiot for using a particular collar. f**k all wrong with them. And Everytime a post comes up about collars, it's the same old shit. A lot of lads use them on here and have nothing but high praise for them. But by your logic were all idiots .

Some folk on here :(

Scothunter how & why the fk would you put a HUGE collar on a average sized lurcher ? its blatenly obvious they only are needed for big strong dogs & look good on big strong bull crosses staffies etc and thats all you should have them on , im not knocking what hes doing so the people more or less saying they would shag him because hes made collars for him for years need to have a re-read . i dont understand why all these idiots are putting collars thats bigger than there dogs head on there dogs it makes no sense and looks stupid , seems to be more of a ' everybody has a strong stuff collar lets get one even if you have a fking whippet ! it wouldnt surprise me if that black and white dog on your pic probably has one

You`re making an arse of yourself son.

What people put on their dog is fuckall to do with you. And you are back peddling now you found out he makes lurcher collars as well as heavy breed collars.

Best just to leave it now.

Depends which ones people put on though, I have a 1 1/2" one on a 28" dog and it doesnt look that big at all. I have one of his 1" collars on a 24" dog and it looks tiny on him

ill be honest here and would say a few months ago i might of agreed with you!!! BUT as already said he made the collars he made, he never forced no one to buy them, but now he has "expanded" into the traditional type of collar and fair play to him!! they are quality collars, of that theirs no doubt, i think the problem is that he will call you a c**t if he thinks you are, but at the end of the day he is a scouser so what more would you expect   i do prefer leather myself but im always open minded on any product and if so many people stick up for his product, then there must be summat behind it!!! all that matters is your happy with what your mutt is wearing whether is strong stuff, black dog trading, bellman and flint, kennel gate or wilkinsons!! you pays your money and you takes your choice :victory:

If i said on here im a size 9 shoe but i wear size 37 you would say im an idiot

Hide and collars have made me a cracking leather collar for the whippet.

the gaffer off here makes some good leather ones too. plenty of posts on this forum about his collars.

and if you want an alternative to leather then if i was you (and im not) you could go for strongstuff.

all depends on what type of collar you want and what you want to pay.
