Strong Stuff 2,171
I'd never work my dog in a ss collar dna soaking into the nylon webbing , carnt be arsed putting them in the washing machine every time i go out, look. Spot on for shows or walking staffies etc about the streets, Leads are spot on tho had mine about 4yrs now and still going strong very well made. Give me a traditional collar any day alot lighter and easier to clean. Is your dog a rapist or a burglar? I promise you that if you're hunting anything you shouldn't be, then the authorities will take a mouth swab off the dog long before they try and prove the dog was wearing that collar on that day at that time .......... and that it wasn't one you picked up on your way home. I have spoken to a reasonable amount of lads who have been prosecuted under the hunting act, and others who have been charged and convicted of keeping illegal breeds or causing those animals to ......... and I have never ever heard of anyone taking a DNA swab from a collar, what would it prove anyway? That the collar was in a badger sett or fox earth? Give your head a shake and stop talking daft. There is a reference on my website to them being washable in a bucket of diluted bleach to remove traces of "DNA", this was written by me and was a nice way of saying blood, seems someone has misunderstood. Lighter??? Oh really, that makes you wrong twice in one post! http://i166.photobuc...FF/lthrscls.jpg http://i166.photobuc...FF/40mmscls.jpg Why even bother writing replies before checking facts? lapin2008 1,587
DNA will stick to leather the same way it will stick to anything else anyway
Guest joball
Well like I said arron something for people to think about! Have had planty of your collars as you know but they always end up on the top shelf hidden away or given to friends. If i had a non running dog i'd use them but you carnt take chances these days. Plus i like something less bulky and heavy for them to work in just my own opinion, the two collars i got here will come in handy tho when i cut the brass fittings of for something else. You didn't look at the 2 photos I posted then ............. Just for the record, I made what you asked for ................... strongdog collars ............... If you'd asked for collars for lurchers, then that's what you'd have got. Loving the implication that you hunt illegally therefore need to protect yourself, just in case anyone wanted to know who to look at, silly billy.

J.DOG 1,355
SS made the collars for big strong dogs , People choose to buy them for their lurchers , and that's their choice he just makes them and sells them . what breed of dog the collar goes on has nothing to do with him . So I don't see why people have a pop at him tbh . SS do you sell your collars at game fairs or is it just online .

Did you just get a little bit of sex wee leaking out when you wrote that about working dogs? I'm extremely confident that my gear is the best it can be, it is exstensively tested worldwide, there's a post from a man in this thread who recommends my gear, and if it's good enough for him, then that'll do for me. Aren't you the lad that thought that to make a bull x you used a pet staff? You're awesome. I wish I was you. Edited May 31, 2012 by Strong Stuff
