Daz 7 563
Never did when i got My Rapid MK 2, Just leaded Her up with Li's straight from the tin. Only clean the Barrel on Mine every 3 tins of pellets, And then all i do is shoot 3 VGA felt pellets through it. If it does get clogged up i've got a cleaning kit with pull throughs and rods but not needed it yet. Unless your getting a BSA gun then their barrels need cleaning for some reason as their full of crap? don't know how though. atvb Daz 7. Edited May 29, 2012 by Daz 7 Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
I only clean my barrel as and when the 10 shot grouping opens up As such I've cleaned my S200 about three times since 2008! Tony Quote Link to post

mikeyblue 28
Hi Paul, Some manufacturers leave a film of oil, or light grease in the bore. I presume this is to stop any corrosion etc whilst sat on the shelf. Could be worth pulling it through,or firing a few felt pellets through it until the felts or patch come out clean. A handy tip is use Swan Slimline Cigarette Filters instead of felt pellets! Hope this helps! Mikey. Quote Link to post
