I know photos never tell the full story, but it does look older than four months, and hasn't had much, if any exercise. Be nice to see some more photos once you've had the dog a while and done right by it.

tbh thinking the same i know photos are decieving depending which angle they are taken but that looks the oldest 4 month old pup i have ever seen .lol.

You can see the pronounced nobules on the ribs so i would say it was still young, would feed it up some.

get hold of some mutton if you can make bit of broth plenty of veg and pasta in it feed it four times a day not over face it with food it needs to get some weight on it and plenty of clean water and fresh air couple of weeks it will be a different pup

I only pluck it when the temp goes over 35 degrees or I am going on the pull

Firstly i don't think anyone was saying YOU were telling any lies about the pup mate, just that usually when a dog looks like it stands between knee and waist on a man, its older than 4 months, 4 months being a real PUP. Whereas that looks like a young dog. Apart from debating it's age, everyone is just saying well done for taking it on, and now it needs a whole lot of TLC. Out of interest where did the pup come from?

 

Second - congratulations on having one if the best dogs in England, but it makes no odds to me, i'm from wales
