Got myself all excited recently, rabbits to be seen in places i had not seen any for a year or two. Then on Saturday found one sat in the middle of the road, totally blind with Mixy

Got a new permission first day ferreting it we looked across the boundary fence and it was like Watership down we Google earthed the estate and it was like the surface of the moon due to the burrows after we got it we where getting 30 + each time we went got 276 rabbits from just one field

Ideation ..... Aye mate but aint it depressing lol it makes you think where the feck it gone lol I know of few places not to far from you which ain't doing to bad prob about ten mile away. This year I ain't gonna check permission as you know what happened last year, you had it first hand lol when we had a look out. Gonna wait till start season see where we at.

a mile away i can see rabbits never ever thought whall did in lauder in the ninties it was real rabbity ,thousands could be seen over the estates and farm land , took 68 out of 3 feilds , and could have tok 3 or 4 hundred if you went till dawn with dogs and gun , last time i heard of big bags was 2007 mates were up from mountain ash they let go 500 bullets must had 380 rabbs, abour 40 min from house . summers hoaching but come sep onwards you see a wee drop on them ,never ever thought a big deal taking rabbs if there there for the cacthing early on in season .any half decent collie cross or most types if fit can do well , before the ban i always thought the strong buck roe or hare singlehanded on decent ground more of a good feat

When I was based at brize norton it was heaving also last year done a day on the grassington estate in october amazing rabbit population.

went to a place a couple of months ago feilds full of dead mixy rabbits called back at the weekend the place was alive with healthy rabbits and mean crawling

That night could of been worse least there was a few to knock over, was thinking of the day we drove over boarder to get stopped then to find mixy had done the dirty lol
