Lukehunt 15
hey guys, basically i was walking my dog the other day when i noticed on her under belly she had a rash, i thought it was just a nettle/sweat rash at first so just ignored it, its been about a week maybe and i checked again and its worse and seems to be spots full of puss . iv tried changing the bed what she sleeps on etc but nothing seems to be working? the rash is up her legs now and covers her under belly, have any of you guys seen this before if so is there a way to treat it or will it just go in time? thanks! pat cope 7
My whippets get this when they have been through crops. I hose them down on their belly and legs every time we come back, and use Sudocrem on spots. Hope this helps. 1 Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
Nothing to worry about: mild skin infection: even unsprayed grass can do it: especially on dogs which don't have a lot of fur on their chests and bellies. Keep the dog out of long grass etc and treat with Sudacrem as has already been said. Quote Link to post
