mad al 146
Danny, avoid Kwikfit like the plague , unless you want to be robbed. Unless you are local to me, I can't help , so if I was you, I'd give an idea as to where you are, then I'm sure you will get the necessary info . One thing to think of, is that Audi, depending on the year/model etc, make sure that they themselves are the sole owners of some of the necessary kit required to carry out work In that scenario, it would be time to consult ebay for the necessary, buy the kit, do the job, then relist what you have bought Al :thumbs-up:

mad al 146
Now then, just to explain for those who need to know. I'd always recommend fitting manufacturers parts, an example of this is our Daihatsu, 90,000+ miles, one set of brake pads shoes lasted 60,000 miles , changed only because of the vehicle being eight years old at the time, replaced by genuine Daihatsu parts . Then you have the other situation, i.e. Audi, on some models if the cam belt happens to snap, they do , only Audi have the necessary to re-time the motor , but if you look in the right places, you find the right kit  . So don't knock it 'til you try it , unless you have an endless supply of cash and then yeh, why not support your local robbing specialists, i.e. Kwikfit????? , now they really are good Al
