i keep a very good line of pure breed staffords, which i've dedicated many yrs to preserving their working qualitys, i've just bred a litter and i thought, you know what, i wander if there's a stranger on a public forum who would like to sell one of my lifes work to...good luck with your search fella...might i ask, what are your intentions for a 100% working bred staff?

''i've just bred a litter and i thought, you know what, i wander if there's a stranger on a public forum who would like to sell one of my lifes work to..''this is sarcasm I believe? There's many folk out there just as keen to see a proper dog do a proper job,but I understand you need to check out the credentials of possible buyers.Best of luck with the litter Yokel.

now jigsaw, after seeing some of your past posts, and some of the dogs you have owned, i thought you could of appreciated this "hypothetical post"!

i have a great admiration for the bull breeds, workers that is, and think their ruination came from those selling to any

tom dick or harry who happened to have the price of a pup. these dogs should be in the hands of those who have proved that they are worthy of such a beast. not someone meerly asking on a forum. there is no background on the original poster, no reasoning as to why. wanting is not a good enough reason for having such a rareity as a geniune working bull. it was the i want attitude that f****d it up in the first place. my post was not aimed at you as i thought you of all would of grasped what i was on about, and even, it was not really aimed to cause offence to the original poster. mearly to highlight just what these dogs mean to those who are genuine, and that it takes alot more than a post on a forum to aquire such fine animal...

There was no offence taken Yokel,I do know exactly where your coming from YOKEL and if you read my post again I did say you do need to check out the credentials of possible buyers, and defo make the right decision for the good of the breed.I have to say though I met some great friends over the years from requests to buy pups from complete strangers.I did meet some bloody complete loons also, thankfully none have come back to haunt me as of yet, lol.Bestof luck again Yokel and if you do have a pup for sale I do have a genuine dog man looking for a pup for the future and hes on your side of the water.

a working staff imo is not used for bushing and ratting.

Why when they are so good at it, isnt that what they were bred for? Ratting and Scrapping?

YIS D

just seems a waste to me pal, mine comes bushing killed a few rats but would not call him a working dog.
