Depends what your shootin off them. If you want sticks for deer those will do your job for sure. My friend designed these sticks about 10 years ago and made a few sets for shooters around here. They are second to none for steadiness. I've shoot foxes to 200 yards off them and I know I couldn't do that from traditionally designed sticks. Now theve turned up on the bushwear website. It seems someone else had the same idea. I'll include a link to there website. There dead easy to make. If you want to know anythin about makin them PM me. Atb Mark

I want to learn how to use sticks properly. I struggle to headshoot the bunnies beyond 80 yards. I wouldn't even consider a fox at 200. How the hell to you get steady enough? Disgruntled sticks user. Oh and I second the B&Q option. I have just recently moved off using them because I got a tripod at a really good price and because I am so tall the sticks were a bugger to fit in the car.

Hi gloop, Can you get the image i sent before from the bushwear catalogue? There defiantly the steadiest sticks I've ever shot off. Real easy to make all you need is 4 garden poles (cut off to suit your height after) I use a piece of water hose from a car to joint them at the bottom (a piece of rubber pipe that snugly fits over the poles is what you need) a couple of spouting bolts nuts and washers, a couple of short pieces of nylon strapping (cheap ratchet strap belt) for across the top for resting the gun on. 2 hazel sticks bound together with around 15 turns of string, not tight so that it can slide up and down to give you quick height adjustment. I shoot off mine from a little anglers tripod stool, carrying sticks and stool in one hand as they are so light. Great for stalking and ambushing if you can get into a seated position, otherwise stand or kneel if time or circumstance dictates!

Polecat / Stoney Point sticks are good, 3 stage telescopic for standing, kneeling or sitting. They're a bit expensive next to the other options though. If you're in the market i've a spare pair knocking around somewhere that I was going to put up in the sale section. I though i'd lost my other set but then found them again! PM me if your interested.
