 .. when i was about 5/6 yr's old my twin brother swatted one and put it in my mother's pocket when we where out shopping..i did not see him do it but he said to me there is something in there for you..so i put my hand in her coat pocket and the fooking thing stung me on the tip of my finger... that was me screaming like a girl again and him running about screaming holding his red thick lug after the old girl cracked him.. :D

:clapper:

My brother was boasting to my old man about playing about with a wasps nest as a kid and what he was doing to it to wind the wasps up. My dad made him show him where it was, so he took my dad there and once he was there, he gaffed my brother by the arm and flung him towards it. After he'd come running to him crying after being stung a few times, my old man said, 'that'll teach you to mess about with wasps nests won't it!'

 My uncle did that with the neighbours lad who kept winding his geese up! He also picked him up, turned him upside down and dipped his head in the carp pond after he gave him a mouthful of cheek for it back down the garden! :D He didn't go running of and crying to his mum or anything though, it wasn't done maliciously and he'd have had a clout off his old girl for being cheeky! :D

That's the difference with the way things are these days Lab. You look back and realise that there was usually a good reason you used to get a hiding and it taught you that there are consequences for your actions..

..anyway, threads gone way off topic again, we best leave it now eh?:laugh:
