Now I'm not one to bleat on about oil like the brave hearts. However if we're being compared to the Greeks , I'd just like to point out from the 70s when the oil was struck, this nation was f****d, those fields pulled us out of that And has contributed hugely to the nations coffers.

So I think the scots have done thier fair share in this union.

 

Not going to go into the commitment the Scottish regiments have done for centuries to defend this island. To be compared to some f*****g greasy Greek, I actually find quite offensive.

Without the oil revenue which is separate. We put 43 billion into the treasury, but our expenditure was just shy of 60 Billion.

But even if we did get independence the oil is dwindling. We also be liable to pick up our share of the unions debt.

Salmond likes to stir the nation with pride, And he is on his glory, but just don't mention figures or how we intend sorting out the break up.

 

Btw that 60 billion includes the interest on uk debts and defence.

Instead, you'll be paying for the financial, moral and common sense vortex that is Brussels.

The EU is fcuked no matter which way you paint it, and that tit wants us to abandon ship and hop aboard a burning vessel...... I seriously think people like wee eck need removing from society as the only thing he's worried about is going down in history.

Yes he fails to mention that we would be sold down the river, probably ending up like Greece, Spain or Ireland at some point, relying on bailouts from Brussels.

How much of what mate?

Our income is less than our outgoings. So therefore we get money from Westminster to make up the shortfall.

Put it another way per head we in Scotland spend 11.5k as opposed to the rest of uk at 10.5k.

But like I said they don't include the oil in those figures.
