forest of dean redneck 11,786
Have you thought about a reverse 3/4 bred collie greyhound (3/4 collie 1/4 greyhound) had one that was a top ferreting dog and just looked like a leggy collie. Personally I think terriers are a pest when ferreting. Some will probably disagree but the ones I have had/been out with have been seen a pic of one in countrymans weekly when the ban came in,nice looking mutt it was too. Quote Link to post

Bossie 90
Very pleased with all the input. Also posted the question over at the working bedlington board. I do have one more question. Do you guys think that (working)blood is more important than breed? Quote Link to post
buster gonads 862
Both imo, chose a worker x worker from the breed thats most suit'd to the type of work your wanting it to do, a least that way your giving yourself and the dog half a chance, buster. 1 Quote Link to post

Do you guys think that (working)blood is more important than breed? Breed from workers and reap the reward, breed for a fad or whim and you may waste a couple of years on a duffer. 1 Quote Link to post
