Guest HAWKEYE
JD I dont know the extent of the injuries mate or the lengths your cousin will go to repair this damage. ....My dog LAKE hit my mates Rottweiller Head on while exercising on a beach near us. He completely shattered his shoulder socket upon impact. I tried to build up the muscle on it to no apparent improvement despite the advice of several good dog vets. I went on the net and contacted The Royal DIC Vets in Edinburgh and They said bring him up. They had one look at him and said we will fix him 100% BUT it will be £1000 No choice IMO I had to get it done, i owed my brave dog. He was laid up for 6 months and became a proper twiney b*****d lol He went on to regularly take 2 hares outta 3 , Rabbits, foxes, Deer and other stuff. mOST DOG MEN WOULD OF shot him, I make no bones about it ( no joke intended) He was a very good dog whose only real side effect was that he would stiffen up after particularly long runs in very soft ground and in rain. One day I was brushing him and I felt like a hard worm under his skin, I pushed it through his epidermis and it was the steel wires used in the op !!!! Just a thought mate... Quote Link to post
