jills had 5

Quick question, my jills just had 5 kits tonight but not sure what time they were born probably just a couple of hours ago but its her first litter. I went into gave her her food and came out to see me as she normally does when she hears my voice so I picked her up and she still looked pretty fat is this normal after having them but I thought she was quite big a would of had more than 5?

She might still have a few ,and she wont get her shape back for a wee while definatly no two hours after giving birth mate

I knew she wouldn't lose it all but she was quite big still but I looked in this morning and she's had another two so had 7 then my other jill the mother of the other pregnant one has only had two and its her second litter

ive found older jills have a lot less than the younger jills and that's no a bad thing i don't need or want loads of kits ,two years ago my older jill had three kits a jill and two hobs that was plenty i only wanted a jill and a mate took the two hobs

Oh right I thought/got told jills that had already had a litter would have more than the first time

Just an update the young one now has 8 and the older one has 7 so going to have a fair few running around soon
