tom 2 9 Posted May 24, 2012 Report Share Posted May 24, 2012 female harris loose in stoke on trent and its legs are tethered the idiot who lost it had her clipped to a cheap dog clip which has snapped it was lost from Longton, so anyone from stoke keep an eye out for it i wont give his details to anyone because he does not deserve to have any birds as hes not got a clue how to look after them if found give to someone who will look after her she is not on ibr to him. I would suggest that if the bird is found you return it and actually try and mentor the bloke so that he gets a clue how to look after birds. All that will happen is he will buy another bird and the cycle of bird mistreatment will continue. People do things not necessarily out of badness but out of lack of knowledge or experience. Its all well and good getting on a high horse claiming should have done this or that and shouldnt have birds. The guy has got one lost one and is likely to get another helping to sustain the prolific breeding of harris hawks. Might not be the best way he has gone about it but rather than lambast and leave him ignorant in bird care help him and just educate in best practice. 2 Quote Link to post
