I was bored so sat in the garden with Rose, my daughter, to watch the ferrets cool off a bit..unfortunatly.. once she sees a phone she wants it.. anyways yea.. result of bordum = phone..video and ferrets ;/ sorry ha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrJPw6oM35c&feature=g-upl you can see theres water in a catlitter tray with a rock in, and a bowl of water next to it.. couldnt catch it on video but they were in and out of it quit alot after that... there is shade in the run its just the sun wasnt right over yet.. but now its halfway shaded hmm.. run could do with a clean out sorry about the noise from her and the kids at the local school 1 Quote Link to post

Col_c88 41
too hot.. just have enough water for him.if possible have a big enough bowl for him to climb in (and out) too... ferrets dont handle heat well at all.. i had to risk leaving the shed open all day yesterday as i was at a christening and new it was going to be hot..dont like leaving it open when im out. unless your being asked to go clear rabbits i wouldnt even bother going out this time of year.. and if you are being asked you will have to say you need to wait till its cooled down..just for the ferrets sake..... but be prepared to dig and be stung by nettles, rumage for your ferret in overgrown grass etc...
