They're fantastic for that job Lab . Eyes that never sleep, which give you the date and time of any regular vistors! :thumbs:

how much was it? might treat myself to one of those.

That model was about £600 3 years ago (thankfully, I didn't have to pay for them personally!), but there's lots more competition and choice now so I'd advise to shop around.

I've been lucky enough to use several different types, both photo and video, and the video footage from some models is excellent quality. When I'm asked for advice, the two things I recommend to go for are: get the one with the highest quality picture, and the lowest reaction/trigger time you can afford. Many of the cameras have excellent quality images but a trigger time of about 4 seconds, so you can often miss the animal, or just get a tail dissappearing out of the frame. Oh, and buy a python lock or similar to secure it to a tree or something, to keep the thieving b***ards off.

OK cheers, I'll have a look at them after. They start at about £140 but don't know if those are any good? I'll have a look.

Too far south of the border for you Lab............ You'd get a nose bleed. Though not quite of the severity that any thieving ba**ard would if I caught e trying to nick any of my gear!!!
