vizlauk 1,568
Has anyone stripped a Air arms S200 - Stripped mine today due to a problem with the power increasing after every shot - cant seem to get the striking pin out, looks like either a collet or a small c clip on the end, I need to remove this part to renew the spring located on the pin ! Mk 1 s200 ! Im thinking that the striking pin spring has gone week (not the hammer spring), or there may be a problem in the air cylinder ? This problem is making my s200 go from 11.5 up to & beyond 16.5, any advice on possible causes, the gun is standard & untampered with. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
I cannot see how the air cylinder will have any effect unless you have had your S200 regulated with a regulator in the air cylinder (like the AT44 regulators). Seeing as yours is standard that discounts that! Quote Link to post

Seeing as yours is standard that discounts that! The air cylinder is fitted with a internal regulator "thats what the guy in the gun dealers has said anyway !" He reckons the regulator was loose inside, BUT after getting it back & putting it together !!its exactly the same. Quote Link to post

robwelsh 354
I thought s200s were non reg, so if they guy in the shop told u this, don't go back there is my advice..if it was second hand from the shop it should of been thoroughly tested to check its not a fac.. I would not trust that shop in future imo Quote Link to post

vizlauk 1,568
I took the air cylinder of the gun tonight, upon doing so I have found it to be leaking ! I decided to open the cylinder for myself to find out what is inside of it - once you open the cylinder, there is an alu pot on the end of the brass end fitting & a locking nut ! removed both of these then there is a brass screw, remove that & then there is the spring & valve !! secretagentmole 1,701
Just a valve, no regulator, the S200 is not regulated, but you can get it regulated! Quote Link to post
