First and formost, Welcome aboard.

Secondly as Mike said FAC is a must over your part of the world unfortunately even for a sub12

Gaining permission is usually pretty hard, approach as many farmers, land owners, riding centres, hotels the list is endless, if its got grass and bunnies, find out who's responsible for the land and drop em a line, DavyT63 put up some decent and tweakable (for your own details etc) letters and perm slips, a quick search and you'll find them on the forum

Shooting insurance is pretty much a deffinate requirement (demonstrates a good level of responsibility from yourself)

Regarding the supervision I have no idea if the laws are different over in N.I. if not then you should be able to shoot unsupervised.

Check out the BASC website, they will have much more in depth knowladge, if you can't find the info specifically for N.I. then drop them an email, I'm sure they will be happy to help

Good luck guy's

Tony

hello thanks for your reply :) where can i get this FAC licence and insurance mate ?

Local Police station if they'll let you have one.

Gun safe, doctors reports, mischief in your past, you cant just go and ask for one over the counter.

FAC is a FireArms Certificate.
