Id try to find a second hand european fixed power, somthin like a kahles 6x42 or somthing like that. Keep an eye to ebay sometimes get a bargain there. You'll always get better value and quality from a european scope because it should last you a lifetime. Dont worry about lower magnifications if the quality is in the glass it will get your job done. Wouldn't buy a hawke scope, you'd just be throwin good money after bad. End up buyin somthin else in 12 months when you get sick a seein nothin. I bought a schmidt bender 2 years ago 8x56 brand new for £380. Keep an eye on ebay, you could be suprised what you can pick up.

Doesn`t sound like my sr30`s then, maybe you`ve been using fakes or somit,

And a S&B for 380, if you can get them for that price I`ll take 20

No point pipe dreaming or the lad will be waiting around for a scope that will never turn up.

S&B and Kahles are not £200 scopes, and you probably know it, try being realistic

I stuck a Bushnell banner on mine when I first had it, and only changed it in the end because I wanted a scope with greater magnification.

They are ok as far as scopes go, but imo don't both with the IR version, as like most cheap scopes they can flare out.

I've got a leapers 6-24x56 on mine paid £100 for it s/h, im very pleased with it, happily head shot bunnies out to 130yds with it an crows a bit further. it's good at dusk aswell.

Have often thought about spending on a dear scope but thought is it really worth it? Probly not!
