Does and fawns

I was just wondering if anyone is seeing many fawns about ,ive spoted about 6 or7 does with calfs at foot in the last couple of weeks.

Ive had a couple of decent bucks so far and a few good stalks .

none as yet chap. we havent silaged yet and other than woodland rides the ground cover everywhere is 2ft plus. could have easily missed them in last few outings

Watched a doe that was acting the part but she never gave it up .

just finished the 1st session of grass & collecting , so far no fawns chopped.Does are nesting up though . Fingers crossed we don't have the same senario as last year, it heart wrenching to clip them.

Doe legged it from back of the yard this morning kept looking back at patch of scrub bet theres on in there will make sure I keep the dogs on leads

just spoke to some mates and they have three sets of fawns on there ground. was out again myself thursday and whilst I saw plenty of does no sight of fawns and two still resembled barrells

The farmer on one of the tennant farmson the estate has fited a clanger thing to the tractor to try and save choping any youngsters ,he gave me a demo the other day and christ what a racket .
