Cheap lithium battery?

Does anyone know if this could be used with a lamp?

 

I can't see why not with new connectors fitted...

there is loads a cheap lithium on ebay, but they are more trickle powered, an not strong enuff to power a lamp, i know a few folks have tried it already

i just had a good look at the spec of the battery ye posted mate an its only 9800mah, wheras the deben yin is 10Ah, quite aq big diffrence, so i doubt that would run a lamp, i may be wrong tho i was once

My mistake. I thought 9800 was almost 10ah...

1 Ah. 1000 mAh == 2.6 Ah = 2600 mAh. so 10ah = 10,000mah

It works out at a 9.8ah which is just short of a 10ah battery. I bought one myself to try it out. It powers the secondary bulb on my culite lamp which i think is a 12v 5w bulb but not the 12v 55w main bulb. I reckon this is due to a thermal cut out switch within the battery pack. Hope this helps.
