Might sound daft but does this not put the dog off as well?

i have to say , those that say it works all the time are talking SHITE, does it feck.

the truth is it works somtimes, but its very dificult to get a comparson as each rabbit is diffrent.

if you succecfully turn a rabbit and is cought. you wouldnt know that if you didnt shake the light weather it would get cought

keeps them off the dyke's, often bouncing themselves back.

As jo ox says, it bounces bigger stuff right back off the fence as they jump aswell.

This is how i caught the first bigger animal when i was out on my own. just before it jumped, it got a shake of the lamp, hit the fence and bounced right back into the dogs mouth :D

Some may find it un-sporting, but it keeps the freezer full ;)

I was out with a mate one night. He shook the lamp and flicked it on and off. Sure enough, this red one hit the barbed wire and came springing back in a right mess.

Only trouble was; It was his red Saluki! :icon_eek: Never caught the f*cking rabbit either. That just went straight under the fence and away.

lads from this post you can tell what people do go lamping and theres people what just talk about it as well also when lamping rabbits if they are lamp shy try get in between the rabbit and the hadge where it is going to run so on a dark and windy night just walk to where you think the rabbits will go and turn the lamp on and hold it too the side of the rabbit so you can just see the eyes glow and you should no what else to do
