Michael5 2
Hey I was wondering if anyone has ever tried calling Woodpigeons with the cooing sound you can make with your hands , was looking to know if it actually works ? Quote Link to post
carpentermark 21
No is the short answer. Pigeons dont coo when feeding. Quote Link to post

The masters at hiding eh? I used to sneak about the wood if i was in need of a couple for the ferrets, you could hear them but could never see them. Then you have a go with the shotty and about 20 of the b*****ds would get of around your head....... 2 Quote Link to post

The amount of times ive followed a call, got to the tree and the calling stops, stand and stand waiting for the slightest movement but nothing. Then the minute you drop the gun and move the b*****d is off. Oh and they never fly over the nice gap you have they go straight away from you.... The amount of branches i've blew to pieces in the hunt for pigeons is unreal... 1 Quote Link to post
