irishnut 297 Posted May 20, 2012 Report Share Posted May 20, 2012 any of you lads know much about these engines. seems that in the peugeot expert both engines were produced side by side for quite a few years. this would make me think the older engine must have been very good, 2.0 hdi gives better economy, and more up to date technology. but is it a better engine. currently looking at 2 crew vans/combi (6 seater), both 2005. 1.9td has 72k miles, £2300 2.0hdi has 69k miles, £3250. there isn't a grands difference in them cosmetically, and both run 100%. but is there £1000 of better engine for long term driving.
