Weihrauch Silencer

Alright lads

Could any one tell me if the current Weihrauch silencer fitted on air rifles could be fitted to a 22 rimfire ?

As in if I did this would it be safe due to the gasses that are expelled from a rimfire ?

 

only asking as both the CZ452 and HW100 both have a 1/2 UNF thread and the air rifle is a 22.

The Weirauch mod is sold as an air rifle mod. Whilst it "may" be ok on a .22LR, if anything goes wrong with the mod and it gets damaged, don't expect any help from the manufacturer.

 

You can get a decent LR mod for £40 or so, why risk breaking your air rifle mod?

OK cheers for that, was just wondering as the Weihrauch mod is so effective even on the FAC air

that it might be worth trying hair curlers on a sub .22 rifle.

A friend of mine uses a parker hale airgun silencer on his Crap Zebal .22rf and it works just fine. Should be ok with subs, but as already said, a sako or scirroco mod for a rimmie is less than 40 quid.

Hogun decimeter mate just as good as the than hw not sure [bANNED TEXT] it will be like on 22 lr but no ucan use it

I think I'm going to try it and see if its any good on noise reduction for a lark this weekend.
