Phantom 631
With permission and when they are in season, it's frowned upon by the SGC holders but it perfectly doable and perfectly legal. Tony Quote Link to post

Malt 379
Not worth shooting with the air rifle unless you're going to eat them IMO.. Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
so between october and february then. and ducks between september and january. somebody told me when i first started sooting thaat it was only legal to shoot these, in flight, so with shotguns.. so does that mean if there was a mallard duck on my permission sat in a small stream (made from rain water after its chucked it down for a week straight) and it was open season and i had my 97kt i would be well within the law to give it a .177 jsb to the head?? hope so because i love duck mmm cheers for your help Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Not worth shooting with the air rifle unless you're going to eat them IMO.. Thats the ONLY reason I would shoot one Malt Couldn't think of any other reason than that and I certainly aint a trophy hunter that just wants to tick them off the list so to speak. Phantom 631
Bet whoever told you that crap was a shotty shooter Again if they are in season and of course you have the permission to shoot them then thats fine, but just don't try silly long shots, get well within your range I've only had the opportunity to put a duck in the oven a few times although resisted because I've not had the authorisation, appart from one and that tasted lovely Tony Quote Link to post
