Quick wander around the small holding perm this afternoon and managed to bag my first one - ever, wanted the other one but too much blood rush and spooked it, theres always next time. Dont laugh at my 2 quid kneeler, light as a feather and beats sitting on damp nettles

I spotted a squizzer a few nights ago on a bit of permission..not many round my way...but the strange thing is it's neary black i wounder what it was at first but by the time it dawned on me it had gone..its only a matter of time and its dead.!! I only need to spot it one more time

there was an article in the paper a few weeks ago about black squirrels

 

apparently its exact same species as grey, but with a dominant black gene

they rekon in 20 years they will all be black

 

iv shot hundreds of grey but never seen a black one yet..also never seen a red one

seen a few black rabbits but never had a shot at one .. so far
