Why is it so hard to get black eyed white ferrets from good stock?

I just get black contact lenses for the albinos that gets the rabbits shifting : )

possibly because the people with good stock breed based on working abilities rather than physical characteristics.

Just bred my albino Jill to a black eyed White so might get a few there, both Jill and Hob are great workers.

ive tried to breed black eyed whites loads of times ive done silver x champagne , silver x albino , champagne x albino but not bred one then my mate put a silver hob over a proper polecat (which i bred) which had a brown nose and he had a black eyed white jill with a brown nose which he sold to a gamekeeper for a fiver

Reading all this i'm glad I stayed with the polecats theres no surprises when you put them togerther.
